Through tough times, how Ontario is making progress for us all

Making progress, opinion and truth checks

The robocall issue: it is an Ontario problem too

Liberal agenda to move Ontario forward together

Before I was your MPP, I attended the 1996 Ontario Liberal Leadership Convention that chose Dalton McGuinty to lead our party. Keeping our commitments

Promise kept! Ontario government red tape reduced

Promise kept! Court costs uploaded from property tax

Ontario is providing the three municipalities in Peel Region: the cities of Mississauga and Brampton and the town of Caledon with funding for court security. This represents nearly $9.4 million in 2012 to upload court costs. Read more.

Promise kept! 30 percent tuition cut now in effect

We said it in the campaign, and we mean it in government: Ontario students are getting a thirty percent tuition cut. It is effective now. The measure was passed in the Ontario Legislature before the Christmas recess. Click for more info.

Promise kept! New ambulatory surgery centre at CVH

When your Liberal government makes a health care promise, we keep it. When we take on a big project, we complete it on time and within budget. In 2007, I said Ontario would fund a new ambulatory surgery centre at Credit Valley Hospital. Along with other significant capital upgrades, it was announced on August 23rd as Phase III at Credit Valley Hospital. More detail.
