Policies and practices about Q & A:

  • The Q & A feature is for residents of Mississauga-Streetsville riding. We ask for your contact data to verify you live in Lisgar, Meadowvale or Streetsville. In the event you do not live in Lisgar, Meadowvale or Streetsville, we'll direct you to your Liberal candidate or Riding Association, or to your elected Member of Provincial Parliament between elections;
  • Should a response to your question mean mailing you something, we need your mailing address. Should Bob wish to discuss the matter with you, please provide your phone number;
  • If your question or e-mail is profane or abusive, it will neither be acknowledged nor answered;
  • If your issue is one regarding a specific program or service offered by the Province, you may wish to contact Bob's MPP office. Click here for contact info.

Q & A from tele town hall

When we do a telephone town hall, which has been very popular every time we have done it, the project is managed through an outside (Canadian) technology provider. The third-party firm manages the reminder and the timing of the outgoing calls.

When the tele town hall has been done, people leave questions with the third-party firm, which compiles them and sends them to us to answer. That process takes a few days. The speed with which Bob answers your question depends on how many questions have been asked, and how much time in the following days Bob has to contact you by phone or e-mail and answer your question.

Often, a fair number of people leave substantially the same question. We often place the answer on the web site, and direct the qustioners to that response, following up if needed.

If a complex or technical question has been asked that requires some research or looking up specific information, that question may take extra time. But we'll get to them all.
