Western Mississauga believed in solid Liberal results
Bob Delaney decisively re-elected in 2007
All five Mississauga seats went Liberal in the October 10, 2007 election!
In our own Mississauga Streetsville riding, Bob Delaney decisively won
re-election. Province-wide, the governing
Liberals won
71 seats. The opposition
Conservatives took
24 seats. The
New Democrats
were elected in 10 seats.
It was the first time since the 1930s that a Liberal government has won back-to-back
majority governments in Ontario. Ontarians liked the results, the non-confrontational
attitude, and the solid management accomplishments of professional people
working on their behalf.
